Organized in partnership with Bentley Motors, Salon des Grandes Complications is organized by Arabian Watches & Jewellery magazine and held under the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

 

The 2019 edition of SDGC Abu Dhabi edition is scheduled to be held from 26th to 30th October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and will be open from 4 pm to 10 pm daily. Held along with the Jewellery Watch Show 2018, the event will feature such illustrious brands as Breitling, Cyrus, Kerbedanz, Krayon, Louis Moinet, Panerai, Prologue, Schwarz Etienne and S.T. Dupont.

The Cyrus Klepcys Alarm and the Cyrus Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon

Were major attractions at Baselworld 2018 and are appearing for the first time in the region. Swiss watchmaker Kerbedanz will highlight Maximus, the world’s largest tourbillon on a wristwatch cage. The Edition incorporates a giant center flying tourbillon, with power reserve indicator and a hand-wound mechanical movement, housed in a titanium or rose gold case.

KERBEDANZ presents MAXIMUS: the world’s largest tourbillon cage measures 27 millimeters across

Giant center flying tourbillon, rotating every 6 minutes, with power reserve indicator.
Hand-wound mechanical movement, 4 barrels in parallel, winding on the case back.

Krayon

A movement-design engineering studio based in Neuchatel, will display Everywhere Horizon, the first mechanical watch ever, able to calculate sunrise and sunset times everywhere on the globe. It has never been displayed in a public exhibition anywhere in the world.

Ateliers Louis Moinet

Named after the inventor of the chronograph will present its limited edition timepieces. Louis Moinet creations often make use of unusual materials, such as fossils and meteorites, combined with bespoke fine watchmaking complications in a unique creative approach.

Panerai

Panerai men's luxury watches represent the perfect blend of Italian design and Swiss technology. Panerai will specially focus on the highlight of the year - Luminor Due 38mm.  The model comes in a new range of colors and materials with stainless steel or red gold case.

Schwarz Etienne

Exhibiting for the first time in the Middle East, will be showcasing their inventions for the finest connoisseurs in the Gulf. On show will be The La Chaux-de-Fonds Tourbillon with retrograde seconds indication that was introduced at Baselworld 2017; Manufacture Roma, an expression of classic watchmaking with a modular in-house movement concept available in a variety of styles and case materials; the Roswell collection inspired by the American Roswell UFO mystery with the unique ‘irreversible’ movement design and and rounded, dynamic case evoking a flying saucer.

S.T. Dupont

Is a 144 year-old visionary French company with the savoir-faire to craft objects of desire, coveted by the elite. S.T. Dupont stand will be dedicated to launching 14 Haute Creation collections, which epitomize technical perfection joining hands with aesthetic excellence. A noteworthy presence at the stand will be the master gemologist Luis Alberto Quispe Aparicio.
