Abu Dhabi to Host Jewellery and Watch Show in October

Abu Dhabi, 29 August: The 28th edition of the Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS) is set to return to Abu Dhabi from the 26th - 30th October, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). 

Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the United Arabic Emirates, the prestigious event will feature 140 unique brands from across the globe, showcasing their latest collections and unique designs. JWS is renowned for showcasing stunning jewellery and watches that are not normally found in mainstream retail outlets, adding to the distinctive quality of the show.

With free registration, visitors attending this years’ event will discover a remarkable range of exclusive collections, from everyday pieces to rare and exquisite, luxury items. The upcoming JWS event will offer jewellery and watch enthusiasts an impressive selection of designs to choose from.  

Firas Abu Ltaif, Event Manager at JWS said: “After a hiatus of one year, we are delighted to see the return of the hugely popular Jewellery and Watch Show in Abu Dhabi. We have ensured that we have selected the most disparate brands stemming from all parts of the world to heighten the shopping experience for our visitors. The Jewellery and Watch Show has always been the finest platform for valuable jewellery and watch brands to showcase their unique pieces, as well as never-seen-before items.’’

Abu Ltaif added: “This year will see the return of our buyers’ favourite brands as well as several new names that we personally chose for the show. Our goal is to offer an incomparable pool of designs that suit the taste of our exclusive and loyal audience. During this year’s event will display an array of items that will attract newcomers to the world of jewellery and watches, as well as collections that will appeal to connoisseurs.”

JWS also caters to buyers who are searching for rising local Emirati talent and will include a dedicated gallery for UAE National Jewellery designers and brands, located at the show’s Emirati Design Gallery. Visitors will be able to explore a stunning range of delicate and heavily adorned gold pieces, which have been specifically designed for brides, as well as contemporary fusion shapes of jewellery that match the progressive and creative nature of the UAE.

Adding to the diversity of the show, JWS will also feature a wide pool of internationally recognized designers from across the world, allowing buyers to discover an impressive range of unique designs and styles, to add to their watch and jewellery portfolio. A main highlight of the show, all international designers will be available at the International Designer Gallery.

To encourage rising jewellery designers and to promote local art and talent, JWS will be presenting the Ebda’a Awards, held under the tutelage of the prominent artist Azza Al Qubaisi. Competitors will be invited to submit their designs prior to the show and the winners will be announced during JWS.   

JWS will also be providing Digital Gift Bags which include exclusive offers from exhibitors and sponsors which all attendees can avail at the show.

JWS is organised by Reed Exhibitions and this year’s show timings are from 3:00pm-10:00pm daily.  The event attracts over 7,000 visitors annually.
